The Market at Serendip will soon be accepting applications for our next Art Squared show, to be opened on
9/224/10.. This unique event will feature work from emerging and established artists in painting,
photography, and mixed media-- but all works are displayed on a 12" x 12" x 1" canvas!
Accepted works will be displayed in The Market at Serendip for the month of October, and will be available
for sale.

The Market at Serendip is a modified artists' cooperative of working artists in all media, and offers two tiers
of membership for incoming artists.
Full members of the cooperative pay an annual fee and 10% consignment fee on items they sell. They have
voting rights on gallery issues, as well as voting on incoming artists, and are required to work 16 hours per
month in the shop or performing off-site functions. Full members receive additional benefits including the
privilege of one private artist's reception per year, and no application or hanging fee for special exhibitions.
Monthly consignment members pay a monthly space rental fee, and pay 25% consignment fee on items
they sell. The have no requirement for shop duties and no voting rights, and more limited privileges and
benefits than full members.
We encourage all interested artists to apply at The Market at Serendip by requesting a
guidelines/application package, or printing out GUIDELINES: from this link. Those interested in joining us
should submit the application form along with photos or samples of their work for jurying at the monthly
membership meeting.
